The Himalayan mountains are visible from India for the first time in THIRTY YEARS! I think this is such beautiful news at such a difficult time for the world. Like many people I have been trying to find the positives in the lockdown and the effect on the environment seems to be one of the most well-documented. Even though it seems likely that these eco-benefits may be short-lived when we get back to “normal”, I am certainly happy that this was possible if only for a little while. Maybe it will inspire people to think about their footprint on the planet!
I have always been a fan of sweet old couples who have been together forever and still walk around holding hands.
This lockdown has meant that many people are out walking who normally would not be. Some alone, some with members of their family.
There have been a lot of reports that lockdown has caused a lot of break-ups. Relationships unable to take the pressure of 24/7 contact. But every time I see a couple walking along, holding hands, chatting, laughing; I am sure they are coming out of this stronger!
And finally…anyone else super into board games at the moment!
I’m sure I used to be better at chess!
