My Birthday is in May

So is my Mum’s and so is my boyfriend’s. It has been a busy month with a lot of Champagne and, of course, a lot of Zoom meetings.

Amazing.

The resourcefulness of companies to keep going in adversity is thrilling…particularly for me, a person who’s day job is selling technology solutions to manufacturing and logistics companies and whose side hustle is coaching!

I had no idea that you could get balloons by mail order or that I would ever find myself posting flour to my Mum because she can’t get any in their local shops.

Times sure have changed and I never thought I would be seeing my friends on a video call instead of getting sloppy drunk and telling them all how much I love them.

But you know, we all got gifts, drinks, some nice food and a lot of love, despite the lockdown. I am amazed by, and grateful for my friends and family every day.

Heartwarming.

I received a video of my 2 year old niece reading the hungry caterpillar book out loud…oh my heart…cutest thing I have ever seen. She’s not so much reading as she has MEMORISED the story! She is already smarter than me!

I have also been really touched by the efforts of family and friends to make birthdays and occasions special during lockdown. I have spoken to people “face-to-face” more during this pandemic than I have in the last five years put together. Definitely one to continue when we are released from captivity! LOL.

Fun.

Has anyone tried this drawing game? It is soooo funny, particularly as drawing is probably the skill I would list last if I had to rank all skills I possess! This has made an appearance in so many virtual parties this month…obsessed.
