The one thing, practice or thought that can always boost your motivation is…
Singing – my earliest memories include my granny singing as she did the housework and I did a lot of singing at school and university but its only since I started my career that I realised how important singing is to my mental health and wellbeing.
The best thing any one ever told you is…
“Don’t judge me by my success but by how many times I fell down and got back up again” (Nelson Mandela)
One thing that is special about your career and/ or business is…
I’ve worked at Kemp Little for almost 12 years, which must mean its a pretty special place! It is not your average, stuffy law firm. Our technology-sector focus and relatively young partnership mean that it is an entrepreneurial place where team members can find their niche and really build something exciting.
Kemp Little LLP is a law firm specialising in the technology and digital media sectors. We’re lawyers who live and breathe technology. For over 20 years, we’ve been helping our clients make the most of the opportunities where business and technology collide. We develop our own software. Many of us have hands on experience in industry. We top off our credentials with creative thinking, pragmatism and commercial sense.
Whilst all HR issues need to be handled with expertise, some may have a fundamental impact on a business or a brand. Where this is the case, we provide clients with sound, strategic employment law advice that puts the issue into the context of organisational strategies and finds a solution that considers the wider implications and effects of any action.
We add value by assessing all options in any given situation, considering and quantifying the risks and benefits associated with each one, and making a firm recommendation – we don’t sit on the fence.
